Change has to start somewhere!

It's 6:30 in the morning and I have just completed my very first FBW (Fat Burning Walk). I woke at 5:30 and hit the pavement! Wow! Do I feel the difference. No kids, no hubby, just me and the open road!

This is something I have never done because I never put me first. Now I've completed my walk and am home waiting for the kettle to boil so I can have a lemon water, and no one is none the wiser. I have t interrupted anyone's day! Wow, it is possible. Everything else is just an excuse.

I need to lose weight and not because I want to wear a bikini or because someone laughed at my jiggly bits, but for my health. I can do this, I can make this change!

I hope this doesn't sound like a new year resolution, because it's not! I don't like resolutions! This has to be legit. I have to make this work for me to stop my health dwindling, I've been told time and time again, so here I go!

Here's my starting digits. I hope that by the end of the month this will be very different! A lot of you may remember my fitness journey, well, I know I can do it ... this is part two!

My Fitness Journey - Week Five

Having entered week five of my fitness journey, I am thrilled to see and feel the difference it is making so far!

Have been following or having your own fitness journey?

I have been finding motivating myself a little trickier as the weeks tick by. But creating a space for me in our room allows me to have motivation surrounding me. I have my hand weights and gym ball, a space for my ipad and my inspiration board all there. It helps for when I wake up as it is the first thing I see and it plants the seed early!

Tell me what you do to create motivation in your healthy lifestyle!

My Fitness Journey

My fitness journey starts today!

You may have noticed a new page added to the blog, this is going to be my journal. My theory is, if I have to share it with the world, it will make me more motivated to succeed!

I'm in no way ashamed of my body. I have carried four beautiful children and am proud of who I am physically. But for my own personal goals, I want to be able to lose the weight that I have gained, I want to reach my goals that I have set for myself and I want to live a healthier lifestyle so that I can overcome the dreaded fainting!!!

Join me in this journey and I would love to hear what you are doing too! Let share a love of fitness and lose the weight together!
