This week we have been busy using a little creative energy ... that doesn't involve glitter ...Oh my how the glitter drives me crazy!!
Instead, we have been using our imaginative thinking. I have created these little sheets that you can use to create a story. I have had Lexi tell me what she wants each page to be about, I write the words, she does the pictures and then we staple them together to create her own story book!
She was so proud of her book, taking it with us so she can show everyone and explain to them the pictures and share her book, the one she made ...
If you would like to create a book, or a page, with your little one, please feel free to click through and print them off for your family today!

I Can Write My Name Printables
Lately I have been on a bit of a roll. Miss Lexi has been keen as a cucumber to get her whiteboard markers out and do some writing, or 'homework' as we call it.
Before school went back, Zarah and Mikayla would say they would be study buddies because the would be at school together and do their homework together when they get home. Now Lexi can be a study buddy too!
This week I have created a I Can Write My Name printable for her to practice her name on. Again I laminated it and she uses it over and over, loving the control she has over her 'homework'.
This is what it looks like ...
Yep, just like the old school days! This has helped so much with the placement of the letters in her name and the direction of each letter.
But then I was bored and did this ...
She was pretty chuffed!
Do you want your child to have a bit of fun with a printable of their own? Sure, why not! Just click here to email me your name and your child's name or the word you wish to appear on the printable and I will return it to you the same day (children permitting!). Pretty sweet deal huh? Oh yeah, it's free too!
Let me know if you want images on your printable, I'm sure I can work something out for you!

Days of the Week Printables
So I knida like made my own printables!
Yeah I'm feeling pretty creative and awesome at the moment!
It all started when my 3 year old, Lexi wanted to do homework with her sisters ... understandable! But what can a 3 year old do that would make her feel like a big kid? I was surfing the net for a while and nearly everything that I came across you had to pay for. Well, not this little duck! I thought, if they can do it, so can I.
However when I posted a photo of the awesome work she had done today, I had a huge response of people saying how great her work is and that they want the link ... well here it is peeps! And it's free of charge ... Yep, you heard right, IT'S FREE!
So click on through to find the print outs. What I have done is I laminated the pages (two pages to a pouch to save money and time) then we can use whiteboard markers on it and not have to print a new one every week! Ta-Da! It really is that easy!
